The MLX81150 integrates a physical layer LIN transceiver, a voltage regulator, and a 16-bit MCU with 32 Kbytes of flash. The device has an A/D converter with differential amplifier for current monitoring, a PWM-unit, and an EEPROM.
The chip’s high-voltage mixed-signal integration enables the inclusion of a relay driver with freewheel function to support applications like window lifters.
