The FCR Series trimmable chip resistor is now available in case sizes of 0402 and 2512. Available in resistance values from 1 Ω up to 1 MΩ, the resistor offers a standard TCR of 200 ppm, and tolerance options ±5%, ±10%, ±15%, ±20%, and ±30%.
The device uses thick-film resistive technology that is not laser trimmed and does not have a passivation coating, enabling the end user to place the part in the end product and then calibrate or tune the circuit to the desired parameters using a laser or abrasion wheel on the resistive element.
