The CHV series thick film resistor comes in 100 KΩ to 100 MΩ values and supports designers need for higher voltage and more rugged devices. The resistor comes in five sizes from 0603 to 2512. It handles 200 V on the 0603 size and 3 kV on the 2512 size – much higher than current devices.
The UL 1676 listed chip is rated for 0.1 W in 0603 to 1.0 W for the 2512 version, with a 1% or 5% tolerance and a 100 or 200 ppm TCR. Power is derated above 70°C. An example part number for a 100 KΩ 0603 5% device is CHV0603-JW-104ELF. From $0.11 ea/1,000.
