Chip resistors offer high power & surge rating

The RPC0603-HP, RPC1206-HP, RPC1210-HP SMT resistors offer a higher power version of the RPC high pulse withstanding thick film chip resistor family. The family uses film on ceramic technology to handle high pulse power and energy better than standard thick film chip resistors.  

The –HP versions handle 0.125 W for the 0603 up to 294 Ω, 0.2 W for 0603 300 Ω and above, 0.5 W for 1206, and 1.0 W for 2010 sizes. Temperature coefficient is 100 or 200 ppm/°C and values range from 1 Ω to 20 MΩ; ±5, ±1, or ±0.5%. The resistors are tested in accordance with IEC 60115-1 using both 1.2/50us and 10/700 pulse shapes. Prices range from $0.045 to $0.25 in full reel quantities.
