The two-channel TS4999 Class D stereo audio amplifier IC provides 3D audio effects that improves sound quality from portable equipment. Selectable 3D modes allow the audio image to be focused behind, above, or below the listener.
The part delivers up to 2.8 W per channel into 4-Ω speaker loads and achieves distortion of 1%. Housed in an 18-bump flip-chip lead-free package, the part also features an efficiency up to 90%, a supply voltage of 2.4 V, and a power-saving mode of 10 nA. ($1.10 ea/1,000 — available now.)
