The BST3405 and BST3408 CMOS power amplifiers (PAs) are for use in Band-5 (824-849 MHz) and Band-8 (880-915 MHz) respectively. The parts are drop-in replacements for the GaAs components traditionally found in every 3G mobile phone, tablet and datacard.
The products include an integrated directional coupler with daisy-chain support, integrated overvoltage and over-temperature protection circuitry. Housed in a 3 x 3-mm, 10-pin form-factor, the PAs deliver up to 28 dBm of linear power. (Contact Jim Nohrden for pricing — available 2nd qtr 2012)
