Coaxial connector for high-speed data
The FM-6 multiconductor connector handles up to 40 signal lines, signal
and ground contacts symmetrically paired. The signals can have a mix of
both 60- and 75-ohm impedances. The connector, which can be stacked to
minimize board space, accommodates pc-board thicknesses of 1.6 to 4 mm.
Mechanical features include a detent locking mechanism to save space and a
polarization key to ensure proper alignment during mating. (40-position,
