The M07A coded switch is designed for use in rugged military/aerospace, portable medical, industrial automation, vision/imaging, and mobile PC applications. Using gold-plated contacts and a nickel-plated bushing, this long-life switch performs a minimum of 10,000 rotational cycles. It has up to 4-Ncm switching torque and a temperature range of –40° to 85°C.
The switch has 2 to 16 positions coding and has a robust stainless-steel 6-mm tapped shaft (3-mm versions optional). It meets MIL-STD-810F for salt fog and humidity and MIL-STD-202G for shock and vibration. BCD or Hex versions are available upon request. The M07A also features a high-strength reinforced plastic body and IP60 or IP68 front-panel sealing, at the customer’s request. It is offered in THT or reflow (upon request) versions and with an end-stop design or endlessly rotating. (Less than $7 ea/large qty, depending on the configuration — 4 to 6 weeks ARO.)
