The MSC C6C-A7 COM Express module uses either an AMD R-460L 2.0-GHz or AMD R-452L 1.6-GHz quad-core processor with thermal design power (TDP) levels of 25 or 19 W. Dual-core versions have an AMD R-260H 2.1-GHz processor or R-252F 1.7 GHz processor — each with 17 W TDP.
The card’s main memory can be expanded to 16 Gbytes of DDR3-1600, and the CPUs all feature a Radeon HD7000G graphics engine. The modules support up to four displays via DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI, and have MPEG-2 decoding, H.264, and VCE (video compression engine) functions along with four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, Gbit Ethernet, HD audio, and up to four SATA interfaces. (From $290 ea/volume orders — samples January.)
