Comb filter processor targets advanced video

The TC90103AFG second-generation high-performance 3-D comb filter front-end processor targets advanced analog and digital televisions, audio/video systems, and set-top boxes. It includes 3-D Y and C noise-reduction functions, a digital multistandard decoder, and 5 Mbits of embedded DRAM for frame-buffer memory.

The chip features 10- and 8-bit A/D converters to support various input interfaces, including CVBS, S-Video, YCbCr and 10-bit 4fsc digital CVBS, digital ITU-R656 and ITU-R601 output, and an I2C bus. It comes in a compact 144-pin LQFP package. ($10 ea/OEM qty—available now.)
