Communications processor is full featured

The Comcerto C2100 and C2200 communications processors have single- or dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPUs with symmetric multi-processing, coherent level two cache, the OPAL (Open Packet Acceleration Logic) engine, and ARM TrustZone security. The processors enable a new generation of switching, routing, security, multi-service gateways, network attached storage, and carrier grade VoIP applications.

The OPAL accelerator supports 2 Gbit/s NAT, PPPoE and VPN with 64-byte packets, with ARM cores fully off-loaded. I/O support includes SGMII, USB 3.0, PCI Gen 2, SATA, DECT, SLIC/SLAC, and TDM ports and DDR3 plus MLC NAND flash memory with ECC is supported. The IC has a NAS applications stack implementation with a TOE storage processing accelerator. (Price not given – samples available now.)
