Compact 12-kW converters target critical apps

The C/B5800 series of 12,000–W dc/dc converter, ac/dc power supply, and battery-charging products uses industrial-grade components. It suits railway controls and communications equipment, military applications, alternative energy applications, transportation, and process control systems.

The converters feature five standard dc input voltage options, range from 80 to 800 Vdc, offer one- and three-phase ac input, and provide battery charging models. Single-output voltages extend from 12 to 400 Vdc. All outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% (load) and 0.1% (line).
