The rugged MIPIOS RC1 fanless compact computer uses a 1.6-GHz Atom CPU and complies with the EN 50155 railway standard, the IP67 ingress protection rating, and has an E1 approval from the German Transport Authority. The RC1 8.66 x 5.12 x 3.39-in. aluminum enclosure provides solid-wall-mounting or mobile application ability.
The unit comes with a 3.5-in. 4:3 color TFT LCD touch panel, two Ethernet 10/100 interfaces, and service interface via USB or RS-232. An FPGA allows the integration of further interfaces, and the computer comes with 512 Mbytes of RAM, 2 Gbytes of flash, a PCI Express Mini card slot, and a SIM card slot.
