The PPC-E4+ compact panel PC has a 4.3 in. WQVGA (480 x 272) TFT color LCD and four-wire resistive touchscreen. The 4.8 x 3.0-in. computer comes with either Windows CE 6.0 or the EMAC Embedded Linux distribution installed and fully configured on the flash.
The PC uses an ARM 9 based SOM with a 400-MHz fanless low-power processor and up to 256 Mbytes of SDRAM, up to 1 Gbyte of flash, and up to 8 Mbytes of serial data flash. Typical power consumption is less than 5 W. The unit has four serial ports, SPI and I2 C ports, two USB 2.0 ports, 10/100Base-T Ethernet, two MicroSD card slots, an audio beeper, and a battery-backed real-time clock.
