Compact stepper motor has high performance

The FDM0620 stepper motor is said to set a new standard in size and performance. The 9.7 mm long, 6 mm diameter motor has a nominal holding torque of 0.25 mNm and a dynamic torque of up to 0.2 mNm. It can reach 20,000 rpm and operate over -35° to +70°C. Nominal current per phase is 0.08 A at 3 VDC.

The stepper motors open-loop operation enables fast and simple implementation. Step angle is 18°, ±5% and phase inductance is 4.5 mH at 1 KHz. A wide selection of metric lead screws and planetary gearheads are available. Sintered sleeve bearings are standard, ball bearings optional.
