TI-RTOS is a complete real-time operating system based on a preemptive multithreading kernel that targets the entire range of Texas Instrument microcontrollers. The software features a deterministic, real-time multitasking kernel (SYS/BIOS) and includes the ability to optimize memory footprints along with a low overhead core-to-core communication mechanism for dual-core devices.
Provided with the package are a TCP/IP stack, USB, EMAC, MMC/SD host and device stacks and class drivers, FAT-compatible file system fully integrated with C RTS file I/O functions, and Ethernet, USB, UART, I2C and SD device drivers. (Free – available now for most MCUs.)
