Compression lug is field installable

The SurLok field-installable compression lug is available in four contact sizes with seven amperage values: 3.6 mm (70 A/8 AWG); 5.7 mm (100 A/6 AWG and 125 A/4 AWG); 8.0 mm (175 A/2 AWG) and 200 A with 1 AWG); and 10.3 mm (250 A with 1/0 AWG) or 350 A with 2/0 AWG). The lug uses the company’s Radsok contact technology to suit applications requiring reduced outage times to sustain generated electricity levels, as found in wind energy, process control, and railway applications.

Industry-standard color codes specify required wire size. Mating pins are available for all four sizes with a threaded tail. (10.3-mm pin and socket, per mated pair, from $9 ea/1,000 — 12 weeks ARO.)
