Conduction-cooled case supports mil, UAV apps

Suited for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and other airborne, land, or sea mission-critical conditions, the VPX CUBE CCE-3VX4 enclosure is a ruggedized, conduction-cooled case for VPX 3U modules. Designed to MIL-STD-810F, DO-160E, and MIL-STD-461E standards, and compliant with applicable VITA 46 (VPX), VITA 48 (REDI) and VITA 65 (OpenVPX) specifications, the enclosure features four 3U VPX slots on a 1-in. pitch, a high-bandwidth Fabric Mapping Module (FMM) backplane, and an integrated 400-W power supply.

The chassis is cold-plate-base-coupled conduction cooled, with a short, efficient thermal conductivity path. Operating temperature range is −40°C to 85°C. Full environmental sealing insures reliable, all-conditions operation. (Contact Dawn for pricing available now.)
