The low-compression CFS EMI conductive foam shielding material can improves the quality and performance of die-cut enclosure gaskets. Manufactured in sheets, the material has a low-resistance polyester fabric surface and a nickel-copper polyurethane foam center, suiting it for use in intricate die-cut finishing operations found in many I/O panel, backplane and access panel applications.
The CFS material offers a typical shielding effectiveness of 60 dB between 10 MHz and 3 GHz. The material also exhibits a compression load of 2.1 psi at 30% compression and operates in temperatures from –40° to 156°F. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
