The TCQ series of conductive polymer chip capacitors are qualified to the automotive AEC-Q200 standard and meet the challenging 125°C lifetime stability test and humidity bias testing at 85°C and 85% RH for up to 1,000 hours. The device’s polymer electrodes enable a benign failure mode, under normal conditions, and exhibit basic reliability of 1%/1,000 hours at 85°C.
They come in 1210 or 2917 SMT packages and offer low leakage (0.1 CV), values from 3.3 to 220 µF, a 4- to 35-V voltage range, and stable performance to 125°C. ESR is 25 to 70 mΩ. An example part number for 35 V and 10 µF is TCQD106M035#0070.
