The Zebra 1002 elastomeric connector with silicone rubber supports provides a reliable electrical connection between PCBs and an LCD display without incorporating an additional holder.
The low-deflection-force, nonconductive supports are available on either or both sides of the standard 0.020-in.- (0.050-mm) wide conductive element. Carbon-filled and non-conductive silicone layered construction provides 240 conductors/in. and accommodates applications with LCD contact spacing of .010” (0.25mm). The connector offers a current carrying capacity of 50 mA per 0.040 x 0.040-in. pad and can be ordered in custom lengths up to 9 in. (Contact company for price — available now.)
