Connector installs without holder on PCB

The Zebra Sponge connector integrates a non-conductive silicone sponge support on either one or two sides, creating a larger base width and eliminating the need to install a connector holder on the circuit board. The carbon-based connector can be specified with 140, 240, or 500 conductors per inch to connect PCBs or LCD panels.

Current carrying capacity is 0.050 A per 0.035 x 0.035-in., and contact resistance is less than 0.50 Ω. (Contact Frank Hobler for pricing and availability.)
