The Edge Rate Interface family now includes the 8-mm pitch Edge Rate right angle (EFM8-RA/ERF8-RA) and Edge Mount (ERM8-EM/ERF8-EM Series) connector strips, which are designed for both perpendicular and coplanar applications. The strips are suited to harsh environments when zippered during unmating and feature an optional rugged metal latching system.
The connector strips offer up to 150 I/Os in single-ended or differential-pair configurations, with a standard choice of 10 to 75 positions per row, depending on orientation. (From $0.11 per mated line — available now.)
