The z-Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus (zQSFP+) interconnect system is designed for high-density applications found in telecommunications, data networking, test and measurement and medical diagnostic equipment. The zQSFP+ system provides data rates of 25 Gbytes and supports next-generation 100-Gbit Ethernet and 100-Gbit/s InfiniBand Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) applications.
The systems includes the zQSFP+ SMT EDR through-hole connector with four lanes of high-data-rate differential signals, zQSFP+ EMI cages with an advanced heat-sink system, a next-generation copper cable assembly for improved insertion loss and a low-power AOC integrated cable solution.
