Suited for solid state drive applications requiring data speeds of 6 Gb/s, the 29-position SAS connectors comply with the SAS 2.1 specification in terms of mating interface, performance and signal integrity. The connectors can support hot-plugging and blind-mating of SSDS, with molded guide posts providing angled lead-in to compensate for misalignment.
Available in various mating heights, the connectors offer either SMT retainers or forklock mounting methods. SMT mounting enables process automation during board population.
