The CoolSplice family insulation displacement connectors (IDCs) provide permanent and fast wire-to-wire or wire-to-flat ribbon terminations for LED lighting applications. The connectors feature two-step push-button terminations and accommodates 18 AWG stranded, fused or solid wire in color-coded unsealed and sealed configurations.

The connectors include a viewing window to ensure that a wire is fully seated after termination. The connector’s left and right sides can be terminated separately and independently, making it suitable on a pig-tail. The snag-resistant connectors are symmetrical-contoured and slim enough to fit through a 16.00-mm diameter hole or PVC tube. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
