Controller handles 100-W servomotors

The 3C20 digital motion controller is a DSP-based single-axis dc servomotor controller for brush-type motors with quadrature encoders. The unit includes a 30-MIPS 16-bit DSP-coupled to a 100-W Hbridge on a single 2 x 2-in. card with a RS-422/485 serial port that supports up to 1.84 Mbaud.

Position, velocity, and acceleration and jerk parameters have 32-bit or greater precision. The controls profile generator has simple built-in trapezoidal profiles and elaborate S-curve profiles are easily generated. ($54 ea/100available now.)
