Controllers interface USB 3.0 to SATA

The OXU3102 DAS controller combines a USB SuperSpeed 5 Gbit/s interface with dual high-speed SATA hard-disk-drive ports. The midrange OXU3101 offers the same features, but bridges to a single SATA HDD. Both feature AES-256 encryption/decryption capabilities for data security.

The OXU3100 version provides features for basic SuperSpeed-to-SATA designs. All three devices support USB Attached SCSI (UAS). The ICs feature up to 27 GPI/O ports, operate from 3.3 V, and come in 64- or 88-pin QFN packages. ($1.50 to $3.00 ea/large volumes samples available now, production 3rd qtr.)
