Convection-cooled 95% efficient supplies offer 369-kh MTBF

The CCB200 series of convection cooled 200-W single output ac/dc power supplies, are provided in a 3.0 x 5.0 x 1.43-in. package, suit medical and industrial applications, and feature an MTBF of 369 kh. They offer 94% typ efficiency and a maximum of 95%, with a flat efficiency curve across the entire operating load range above 20%. At full load, it generates 50% less dissipated heat compared to other 200-W supplies, resulting in lower component temperatures and increased product lifetime. No load power consumption is less than 0.5 W.

The convection-cooled supplies deliver the 200-W continuous output power from –20° to +70°C without derating, and up to +85°C with derating. The 200-W supply series conforms to the ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 medical 3rd edition safety standard and has approval for use in body floating (BF) applications. It also complies with the internationally recognized UL/EN609501-1 safety standard for IT equipment. The operating range extends from 80 to300 Vac, with full power available from 90 to 264 Vac.
