Converter controller IC improves battery life
The Si9150CY is a synchronous buck converter controller IC that converts
unregulated 6 to 16-V battery output to 3.3 or 5 V. A dc/dc converter
circuit comprising the device and the Si9942DY dual MOSFET is guaranteed
to operate at greater than 90% efficiency for a 6 to 10-V input and 3.3-V
1-A output, when built to the company's specifications. The Si9150CY is
