Two new versions of the TLynx series open-frame dc/dc converters, designed to the DOSA standard, provide 20-A output current and offer regulated output voltage and programmable via an external resistor. The modules suit distributed-power architectures, intermediate bus voltage applications, telecommunications equipment, servers and storage applications, and networking and industrial equipment.
The APTS020A0X3-SRZ has a voltage input from 4.5 to 14 V, 90% efficiency, and an output from 0.69 to 5.5 Vdc. The APTH020A0X3-SRZ version has an input from 2.4 to 5.5 Vdc, 93% efficiency, flexible output voltage sequencing, and output voltage from 0.6 to 3.63 Vdc. The converters also feature programmable output voltage, remote on/off, remote sense, monotonic start up and shutdown, and over current and over temperature protection.
