Converters offer 20-W in 1 x 2-in. package

The I2000RU series of 20-W dc/dc converters provide efficiency to 89%, industry standard 1 x 2-in. package and pin-out. The series features twelve models that operate from 4:1 input ranges of 9 to 36 Vdc, or 18 to 75 Vdc, providing single and dual outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±12 or ±15 Vdc. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1,500 Vdc. All models offer continuous short circuit protection, output power protection and a remote control input.

Applications for the dc/dc converters include process control systems, portable/mobile equipment, data processing systems, and power distribution subsystems. The MTBF is 346 khours, and the operating temperature extends from –40° to +85°C. (From $29.70 to $32.20 ea/100 — available now.)
