Converters offer 4:1 input and rugged design

The VHK series of dc/dc converters feature a 4:1 input and provide 50 to 200 W of output power. These chassis-mounted units are enclosed in a 4.25 x 4.00 x 1.50-in. aluminum case and include a built-in heat sink. The converters suit communications and industrial applications that need a rugged design.

Users can select from an input voltage range of 9 to 36 Vdc or 18 to 72 Vdc and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, or 48 Vdc. The standard operating temperature range is –40° to 85°C, with the 50–W model operating up to 60°C under convection-cooled conditions. (From $125 — available now.)
