The HTA family of high temperature dc/dc converters targets high-power subsurface and high-temperature applications, including down-hole drilling, seismic and natural resource exploration, and jet-engine-control electronics.
The converters are suited as building blocks and intermediate bus converters for power systems. They can provide up to 20–W output power over case temperatures of –35° to 185°C. The devices have an input-voltage range of 150 to 250 V and are offered in single- and dual-output configurations. Input and output are galvanically isolated to protect the output loads from catastrophic system failures. (HTA20005S, $4,450 ea — available now.)
