Converters use ceramic base

Available in versions delivering 5 or 3.3 Vdc, the 2-W MS2378 dc/dc converter uses a ceramic base and hybrid SIP construction to significantly reduce heat-sink requirements. Requiring only two external capacitors for operation, the 1.0 x 0.5 x 0.225-in. devices accept an input from 12 to 32 Vdc.

Able to mount vertically or horizontally, the nonisolated converters have a line and load regulation of 1.0% and an operating temperature range from 10 to 70C. (From $4 ea/medium qtystock to 8 weeks ARO.)
