Cool-running 3-phase UPS offers redundancy, expansion
System provides 97% efficiency, even at a 40% output load
The UPS RP36000/3 parallel three-phase UPS provides 36 kW of power or 24 kW with n+1 redundancy. Housed in a single 42U rack, it can be expanded to 60 kW with n+1 by installing up to three additional RP12000/3 UPS modules.
The system enables attached servers to save all work in progress and initiate a shutdown in the event of power loss, and restores it with thermal logic power. The UPS dissipates less than half as much heat into a data center compared to competitor systems. Power manager software provides for configuration and graceful shutdown of critical servers. An optional UPS management module offers clustered UPS support without the need for a dedicated management server.
Digital signal processing, wireless paralleling, and online on-demand hybrid technology provide density, redundancy, efficiency, and flexibility. The UPS combines the efficiency of a line-interactive UPS, up to 97%, with the stability of a double conversion online UPS when power fluctuates beyond acceptable limits. In the event of a failure, the load shifts to remaining modules providing 100% UPS protection. Hot-swappable batteries and electronics modules and an automatic bypass reduce down time in the event service is needed. ($30,999 – available through authorized dealers.)
