Cooler operates regardless of power supply

The ThermoTEC series of air conditioners cool regardless of the available type of power, operating from ac or dc power. When operating from dc-input the air conditioners can work from a 24- or 28-Vdc truck battery. From ac-input power they operate from 180 to 264 Vac.

The coolers offer an auto-range feature that tracks and optimizes available voltage to provide unimpeded cooling, even when installed in older buildings and production facilities. When connected to an ac-power source, the units convert the input to dc. These air-conditioned electronic enclosures and transit cases protect controls, computers, cameras, telecom equipment, and other electronic/electrical gear from particulate contaminants, oils, water, and other environmental hazards.
