Cortex-R5 based MCU targets automotive

The Traveo MB9DF566 dual core Cortex-R5 based microcontroller targets automotive applications for security, motor control, and communications. It features two R5F cores with clock speeds to 200 MHz, three 12-bit A/D converters, dual R/D converters, dual motor vector accelerators, an interrupt controller, three CAN channels, and 1 Flexray unit.

The TEQFP208 packaged device provides 1.66 DMIPS/MHz and has 2 x 1 Mbytes of flash, 2 x 128 Kbytes of RAM, a DMA controller, and multiple 16- and 32-bit counter/timers. Operating temperature is -40° to 125°C and samples are available now.
