Cosel announces expansion of DIN Rail product line with the new KL series

Cosel Co. LTD is pleased to announce the new KL series of DIN Rail Power Supplies. 

The KL series is a robust simple function DIN Rail mounted AC/DC Power Supply for industrial and commercial markets. The KL Series features two types of interface, Euro Style or terminal block. Each KL is standard with front mounted voltage trim and power good LED.

The KL series adds to Cosel’s current KH series of DIN Rail products. The KH series is Cosel’s flagship, full featured AC/DC DIN rail line. The KH series is full featured with remote on/off, voltage trim, power good, fault indicators and a DC OK relay standard. In addition the KH series offers Class 1 Div. 2 safety certification and NEC Class 2 on the 30, 60 and 90 W versions. Conformal coating is also available.

The KL series is designed to meet the market’s demand for a simple function more competitively priced product. The KL series uses soft switching technology and Cosel’s advanced heat dissipation technology to provide a highly reliable product. The KL series has a 5 year warranty. DIN Rail space can be very important and the KL series is designed to take up less space on the DIN Rail than many competitors. The 120W version is only 1.5” x 4.88” x 4.61” and 240W version is only 1.97” x 4.88” x 4.61” inches. The KL series boasts an efficiency of up to 90% typ.

The KL series includes 24VDC & 48VDC outputs, universal Input, DC OK LED indicator with voltage trim located on the front for easy voltage adjustment. Conformal coating is also available on the KL series for harsh environments. The KL series has a wide operating temperature range from -20 to +70C. The KL series has international safety approvals including: UL508, UL60950-1, EN60950-1, C-UL, CE and Noise Emission levels are EMI class B.

Full production of the KL Series at Cosel’s facility in Wuxi, China will be beginning on June, 20th in 2015. The KL series is great solution for Factory Automation, control equipment, industrial robots and other application where reliability and low cost is important.
