Cosel MGS dc/dc converter series targets small-sized package needs

The Cosel MGS1R5 and MGS3 dc/dc converter series is available in a SIP6 package (17 x 12 x 8.5 mm) and provides 1,500-Vdc isolation for up to one minute. The MGS1R5 and MGS3 series features a 2:1 input range (4.5−9 Vdc; 9−18 Vdc; 18−36 Vdc; 36−76 Vdc). The MGFS1R5 and MGFS3 features 4:1 input range (9−36 Vdc; 18−76 Vdc). Efficiencies for the converters range up to 85%, and have an operating temperature range from −40°C to +85°C. The converters meet UL60950-1, C-UL, and EN60950-1 safety approvals.

The dc/dc converters provide overcurrent protection. Line and load regulations are offered from 20 mV to 60 mV, depending on the model, and output voltages are 3.3, 5, ±12, and ±15 Vdc.
