Current-loop xducers offer true rms outputs

Housed in 35-mm DIN-rail enclosures, the MVTR and MCTR series single-phase transducers provide true rms voltage and current measurement, respectively. The loop-powered units are designed for easy, low-cost installation, providing fully isolated 4 to 20-mA outputs proportional to 50 to 400-Hz sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal inputs.

Current-loop xducers offer true rms outputs

The MVTR series consists of models for three input ranges (0 to 150, 300, or 600 Vac) with ±1% FS worst-case accuracy at 400 Hz and response times of 200 ms (150 and 300 Vac) or 500 ms (600 Vac). The MCTR series consists of models for four input ranges (0 to 0.1, 1, or 5 A or 0 to 0.333 V) with ±1% FS worst-case accuracy and 300-ms response time. All units are RoHS compliant and operate over a –20°C to 60°C range. (From $160 — fewer than 10, available from stock; 10 or more, check with company for lead times.)
