Current-sense resistor expands stability

Offered in a 2512 package, the LR Series 2-W flat-chip current sense resistor features a copper conductor element on an alumina substrate with wraparound copper terminations and a protective overcoat for increased stability. Applications include dc/dc converters, automotive electronics, power supplies, and battery chargers.

The resistor comes in values from 0.002 to 1 Ω, with tolerances to ±1%, TCRs to ±100 ppm/°C, and dielectric withstanding voltage is 200 V. Operating temperature range is from 55° to 150°C. ($0.16 ea/10,000—stock to 10 weeks ARO.)
