Current-sense resistor extends 3 to 200 mΩ

The CSM3637P (Y14740R01000B) high-precision, surface-mount, four-terminal current-sense resistor offers a resistance range of 3 mΩ to 200 mΩ. The resistor features a tolerance of 0.1%, TCR of ±15 ppm/°C maximum from 3 to 100 mΩ and ±25 ppm/°C from 100 to 200 mΩ, along with frequency response to 50 MHz and very low inductance of 0.5 nH.

The device has a power rating of 3 to 5 W derated from 70ºC, load-life stability of ±0.2% at +70°C for 2,000 hours at rated power, and all-welded construction with copper terminations. Current rating is as high as 40 A. A 0.01 Ω, 5 W, 0.1% version costs $7.70 ea/1,000.
