The NCD1015ZP and NCD1015ZPC is a 50 mm half-duplex, read-only RFID transponder featuring 64-bits of identification data storage, and a 16-bit CRC error checking code generator. The transponder is a passive device that supports ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 standards.
Using the power acquired from harvesting the RF energy transmitted by the RFID reader, the passive transponder responds by sending out of 128-bit packet that contains the stored 64-bit data, a 16-bit CRC-CCITT error checking code, and the overhead bits necessary to ensure transmission recognition. The integrated ferrite antenna enhances the tag’s reading distance over what is obtained by non-ferrite antenna designs, while the polyurethane encapsulating material boosts the mechanical robustness making the tag suitable for development in harsh environmental conditions.
