Enabling user interface functionality in wireless devices, including gestures that are compatible with Windows 8 applications, the PRoC-UI (Programmable Radio-on-Chip – User Interface) is an integrated touch and wireless SoC with standard HID (human interface device). It is an ideal solution for wireless mice, trackpads, remote controls, presenter tools, and other HIDs.

The SoC combines the low-power 2.4-GHz proprietary WirelessUSB-NL Radio-on-a-Chip with Cypress's CapSense and TrueTouch capacitive-touch technologies, and standard HID microcontroller functionality. This solution also offers easy integration with external components, delivers cost savings (through integration), shorter design times, lower power, and smaller form factor.
