D-sub connectors offer variety of contact sizes

The CBDD series combo D-subminiature connectors are now available with mixed power contact sizes, allowing for increased density options. The series is available with size-22 high-density contacts that offer resistance of 0.010 Ω for the open-entry design and 0.005 Ω for the closed-entry design. Closed-entry contacts are rated at 5 A nominal.

Standard size 8 and 16 power contacts are also available, the size 16 contacts have a resistance of 0.016 Ω and are rated at 28 A per UL 1977. Legacy Combo D connectors use size 20 contacts for signal-level connections. (Per mated pair, $13.50 ea/100 — available now.)
