DAC offers low drift

The 16-bit 4-channel DAC8734 bipolar D/A converter offers a low drift over time of 2 ppm over 500 hours and 3 ppm over 1,000 hours. The device can drive ±16 V or 0 to +20 V across four channels, eliminating the external op amp typically required for additional voltage gain.

DAC offers low drift

To further boost precision, the device is trimmed during manufacturing to a maximum gain error of 4 LSB (at 16 bits). Built-in user calibration further reduces gain error down to ±1 LSB max, with a zero error of up to 1/8 LSB. Available in a QFN-40 or TQFP-48 package, the part provides an INL of ±1 LSB, a low noise of 60 nV/√Hz, and a programmable output range of 2x to 4x the reference voltage for bipolar operation at ±2 to ±16 V.
