Database translator for Cadence/Viewlogic
The Translator is a bidirectional schematic translation software tool for
Viewlogic Systems' Powerview and Cadence Design Systems' Edge and Composer
schematic-capture systems. The software provides direct
database-to-database translation, which results in minimal loss of data
and allows designers to retain their original schematics. The Translator
includes options that allow designers to translate entire schematic
libraries, single schematics, or symbols. In addition, it has the ability
to identify and translate the specific components in a library that have
been changed since the previous conversion. The software runs on Sun
