Datalogger tackles environmental apps

Aimed at environmental monitoring applications, the dataTaker DT82E datalogger supports SDI-12 sensors and USB memory sticks, providing 12-V regulated output to power sensors, 18-bit resolution, and a built-in display. The logger can operate from external dc battery or solar power.

The unit measures and records up to 10 Msamples of temperature, voltage, current, resistance, frequency, 4 to 20-mA loops, bridges, strain gauges, and digital and serial devices. Dual-channel isolation lets four 2-wire differential or six common-referenced analog inputs be used in various combinations.
