The URB_LD-15W series of 15–W dc/dc converters are housed in a 1 x 2–in. metal-shielded package with an industry-standard pinout. The converters feature a 4:1 input range (9 to 36 Vdc or 18 to 72 Vdc), suiting them for industrial and communications applications.

The converters provide up to 85% efficiency, are regulated with typical load regulation of ±0.5% and line regulation of ±0.2%. The units operate from –40° to 85°C, with derating depending upon the output voltage and use of the optional heat sink. Protection circuitry includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit with automatic recovery. ($16.30 ea/large qty — available now.)
